What do you guys/gals run for plugs? Any experience with Spark Racing plugs?
Brisk Premium Multi-Spark Plugs : Premium Multi-Spark Racing BR12ZC Spark Plug
I wouldn't have given these a second thought if it weren't for a very sensible, respectable dude recommending them (RIP adidasguy).
$18 per plugBut really, $40 every 10k miles isn't the worst thing ever
They look like gimmick plugs to me. I see no active electronics in the design, therefore I declare their 'three sparks per ignition impulse' claim total and utter bullshit.
I stick with NGK personally.
I remember years ago Honda wanted $32 each for plugs for my CBR929. I think they were $11-12 online. NGK or Denso

Only need one spark. Everything else is a gimmick.
Yup. Stock. Copper plugs create the best spark. Iridium last longer but produce a weaker spark.

Cool. Read a 17-page debate on gstwins and still not convinced anyhow. Why do I do these things..
$4 NGK plugs at the dealer, sounds good.
Just make sure they are properly gapped before you install them.

No doubt. I usually have a good memory with these things, but one time I must have forgotten to torque down a plug in my old Dodge Stealth and blew it right off. Goddamn that was loud... thing kept running but sure surprised the hell out of me, and probably everyone within 1/2 mile![]()
