Nearly a year later... parts are starting to come in. Here's some teaser photos of the piston cooling jets fabricated by G-Force Engine Development. It's going to be a long time before this comes together, but I'm hoping to have more regular updates on the progress both here and on (eventually) the BoMo blog. On the chassis side, I've finally moved parts into the basement for winter assembly and have the frame and swing-arm connected (albeit with the wrong pivot bolt), and the shock installed. Front end will go on as soon as the bearing race can get pressed on.
IT LIVES!!!!!!!!!!

You need those jets when you're pulling almost twice the stock HP.Originally Posted by stpierre

a big box of shit arrived the other day. Still waiting for lots of stuff to be pieced together and delivered but we have the cylinders, pistons, rods, all the gaskets and miscellaneous small parts. The cases and some other parts have all been cryo treated to deal with 80+HP out of a small motor. The piston cooling jets are installed and ready for plumbing. We have all the bearing specs so they can be ordered. I have to get a whole host of stuff balanced before assembly (cranks, clutches, transmissions etc). Tranny gears are on their way I believe.
Once everything is at my place I'll start assembling the first motor and take pics along the way.
We are making progress! Might have these bikes ready for the 2012 season!
