Hi all,
We just picked up our second cub. It was mothballed in 1968 and I am trying to getit going again. I spent a lot of time cleaning out the carb and it's as good as it will get I think.
It idles fine and will accept throttle fine on the stand, it always bogs under throttle. You can zing the engine along as long as there is no load, but as it to pull and it stalls or does the hurkey jurkey. Any thoughts on this?
Thanks
Adam

It's not compression. It' was rust in the tank getting caught in the carb.
I had it running it and ran awesome. Tons of power (for a cub).
See the other thread about removing rust from a gas tank!
Thanks
