I'll also clear the air about something while we're here.....
Several of you know about an on-track incident on the cool down lap of Race 7 I was involved in where a rider went down.
On my attempt to congratulate the winner, our bikes made contact and down he went.
I've reviewed the footage from my bike and while new information has come to light, one detail in particular is that it's confirmed without a doubt the affected rider had one hand on the bars.
This is being pointed out specifically because there were multiple statements made that he didn't have any hands on the bars at the time of the incident and that is simply untrue.
That said, upon reviewing the footage I believe factors outside of my control contributed, at least to some degree, to the incident.
As a result, I will not be congratulating any competitor while on the track surface as I learned there are factors I cannot account for when celebrating a competitor's win.
So, a good weekend as far as results and a not so good weekend being involved in something with such an unbelievably unexpected outcome. Still dumbfounded as I type this....

Umm, okay. Not much of a report.
I was watching your results on speed hive Sunday. Looked like you got to a 1:22 pretty comfortably, so....yellow plates?
(And yes, I realize novice run yellow plates with a stupid N sticker on there, but fuck that! You guys need to go back to the old days of white with red numbers!) Lol

Not much to report, my love. I was completely uncontested in the other races and focused on consistency.![]()
There was a certain degree of comfort on my part in that, it's not been an issue up to this point. It never crossed my mind that this would happen since there were so many other successful celebrations.
I can't overstate it enough when I say, I hate that this took place.
Duuuude that really, really sucks. I'm sorry that happened. The other rider is okay, I hope?
