Bummer dude. I guess it was not the GP shift then. Did you change back to Regular for the 2nd race and get the same results?

I'm pretty sure he did?
Looks like transmissions can be had for cheap on ebay. Might be worth pulling yours, grabbing a cheapie off ebay, and sending the two of them out to someone like APE to be inspected, best parts picked out, and undercut?

Bummer buddy. Sorry to hear it. It was good to see you again all the same. Like the others, I still think you're sexy, and a funny bastard. And your bike is pretty.

Well played.
No, I kept with GP and headed out for the warmup lap. It skipped coming out of T2. Fast forward to T5, I slowed up enough to grab a gear on the way down to T6 while making sure to stomp on the shifter for the upshift, started to come out of 6 and it skipped again. Instant hand up/ leg out, weekend over.
Time to see what the spare motor has and spin some wrenches.
I'll keep it in mind but my beer gets imbibed when the bike reliably stays in gear.
Thinking my year is definitely done since I'll be taking the motor that far down for repairs. Prolly gonna be a good time to go through it front to back, get some questions answered and install some much needed power updates....come back with a vengence next year.
BTW, I'm glad you guys approve of the new paint. Thinking some Newbury posage is in order.
We'll see what happens. I gotta wait for the smoke to clear with a few things first but if I get in that gearbox and find it's just a coupla spent dogs I may just throw something in from my spare motor just to get by and try to make it for last race weekend. It's really a tough call at the moment and all dependant on the condition of my spares. If they look good, I'll be starting the rebuild right after NJMP and save the power-up project for the off-season.
Cool, thank you.
Maybe I would let you race my r6 on sunday...
