Unfortunately I was not able to make it on Friday due to work, but I was there on Saturday
1st Practice I made it out late because I think I was still half asleep. It was cold and overcast so I went out and just turned 5 or so laps.
2nd Practice it was drizzling. This was my first time in the wet since last weekend of last year when I crashed out so I took it easy and got used to how it felt. Didn't get totally comfortable by the end, but found the limit in one of the last laps in T9...which made me wet my pants a lil.

GTL was the first race. It had been raining pretty hard int he morning, so about an hour and a half before my race I opted to change over to rains. Thanks to Chris and Glenn for the help in doing that! By the time the race was coming around the rain had stopped and it almost seemed like the track would dry out. This would be an opportunity to use rains for the first time, so I was excited none the less.
My start for GTL...well...sucked. I wasn't in the race mentally at that point and was thinking about where the hell Dan was since he wasn't in pre-grid and I turned around in grid and still didn't see him. Pang was in front of me going into T1 and I think I saw him for maybe 2 corners before he was just a dot in the landscape. He totally checked out. From there on out I think an SV passed me every other lap or so and I ended up in 5th after the race was red flagged putting down a 1:33.23 for a rain PB. Thanks goes out to Adam Clarke for the last minute advice on how to ride in the rain 10 mins before I headed out.

LWSM was by far my favorite race this weekend. Got a killer start and was in front of LWSM and LWSS coming out of T2. Got passed by an SV on the back straight and passed him back on the brakes in 3. Apparently I didn't lean it over enough because I managed to get onto the dirt on the outside of T4 and jump the curb. This was no big deal but that SV and Kurtz passed me back. I charged hard after Kurtz and after a few laps I had managed to catch up with him. I was on his tail going into T1 and got beside him in T4, but he out-motored me and got away. I noticed that he went a little wide in T6 coming in this time and I took the low line and flatspotted the transition between 6 and 7 and made the pass. Fucker got me back on the straight.:slap: Then he ran a 1:25 and pulled away. I put everything I had into trying to catch him, but all it did was tire me out and make my lines sloppy as hell, almost taking Dan out a couple times (Sorry Dan). I ended up coming in 1st and set a new PB of 1:27.01 down from 1:27.5. Not only that but I ran 27.4 and under the entire race with a 1:31.6 outlap.

This had to be my favorite weekend yet this year. Can't wait for the classic next year! (And yes Tony...I will be putting new takeoffs on for next weekend).![]()
