TLDR - Got down to a 22.2 this weekend, from a 24.6 on my one try on the sumo last year. Confused a bunch of 500 Superbike people by showing up in their grid, fended off a potential protest from Elvis, and show as beating him in the Motard race?!
The real result: My baked chicken came out awesome Saturday evening.
Dunno, Trase said there was a large man I was gapping, I didn't look back to see who was gridded behind me so I can't confirm. There were lots of timing and scoring issues through the weekend as NEMRR got used to tying the new reg system in so possibly a gaff but it was on the official / final results printout as well at the media center so?
There was someone who fit that description but I’m 99.9% sure
It wasn’t Rick. If you said his name Then I’d recall what it was. I had a little chat with with about grid positions….he stated that in the initial gridding sheets he was last in every one of his races.

The first grid sheets they had posted for Saturday had me row one, B or C, with the actual points leaders behind me. I was going to get shiv'd on the start if those grids were kept.
I saw your :22, congrats. I was curious what you were running for a bike?
Sergio got down to a high :17... still put him in third. Those kids are fast.

I'm on the 2016 500XC W, Kates redid the suspension over the winter plus I went to his clamps. So far seems to be working for me, might have to drop a tooth on the rear as I can hit the limiter into one if I get my drive right out of 12 and don't chicken out on the throttle. Very much not consistent on that though.
Sergio was flying, fricken Gunner and Eli are on another level.
Haha that was pretty funny. Both Chris and Jim were like "pretty sure he's supposed to be in the LW Sportsman wave" but I assured them you signed up for 500SB on purpose.
But as you confirmed with me on pre-grid, the kids gave you a whoopin', not the other way around. Haha

Oh also I'm fairly certain Rick was racing 300SB, but Race Hero incorrectly has him listed as motard.

Yeah, and they show him as being on his R6 so... none of those details will be on the framed print of that results sheet hanging on my wall.

I was camped out at the Bowl for a good part of the afternoon Saturday and, FWIW, I don't recall seeing Rick behind you at any point and certainly not on a motard.
Far too busy watching Josh on his motard whoop Rick on his R6!
All kidding aside, I couldn't risk getting lost in the paddock. Went in to discuss some upcoming work then headed out as a matter of self preservation.
