LRRS 2 16 - Round 1 — OutOfSpec.COM
I'm really wordy when left to my own devices.
I have a box full of assorted o-rings... could have sorted that for ya at the track!Look forward to seeing you at round 2 then.
Ha! Yeah I had a few other things, but getting the repaired / repainted and recoated tank on was step one and I failed instantly once I saw the o-ring. Also need to sort out whether I can fit a stock seat on my rear sub-frame, as the new bodywork isn't a superbike tail like my last.... otherwise I gotta wait to get my old (repaired) tail back as it's not ready yet....
Oh, and Jet Lag is a B*TCH.... I can't remember where I put my phone down when it's still in my hand lately... I thought riding motorcycles at pace was probably not the best idea....
It's really cool how you created a distraction for the novices so they couldn't get all nerved up, instead they're watching you build a Meccano motard from boxes. I hope somebody told them that isn't normal, or even socially acceptable.
I greatly enjoyed reading the report, and wish I had seen it! Helluva job getting on track, it's all smooth sailing from here.![]()

"It was amusing to see a race where the entire amateur wave beat the entire expert wave..."
Just a little clarification: I did pass Bill at one point, so for a few seconds, all the amateurs were ahead of all the experts, but Bill was not going to let a little 125 with yellow plates stay ahead of him, so he promptly motored by me on the strait and picked up the pace so I was no longer within striking distance. BJ was still on my tail and did briefly pass me on the last lap, but didn't challenge me when I out braked him in the bowl. So the actual finish order was Am, Ex, Am, Ex, Ex.

Oh, I thought you held him off. Go Bill!![]()
We need to see some true UL's out there. There has to be some left! Great job Josh and look forward to seeing you next round.
I called out people's bikes already... if need be I'll start calling people out by name next. The bikes are out there, in some cases already circulating in other classes...
