Not a great racing weekend for me but still one of the most fun weekneds i have had.
Showed up Wednesday night, Decided not to practice Thursday because i had no rains. Friday morning i got one practice in and the other i only got 2 laps due to missing the call over the intercom.
ULSB: Got a shitty start, slipped the clutch to long and slow, i changed levers before the race and didn't practice a start with the new lever position...Failure...
Bell got the hole shot, witch made me nervous because he ran 23's in practice but i got around him on the outside of one due to him not having warmers and ran a 25 out lap. Second lap i fell in 9, stayed under the bike as i went down the hill and the bike stood up halfway down, i finagled my way back on the bike and was fully remounted by t11. Last lap I crashed in 11 with a 3/4 track lead cause i'm a dumb ass.
Ran all 22's except my out lap and my t9 indecent lap. My goal was to get more consistent and not crash, i achieved 1/2 of that.. I now know i can go 22's reasonably easy, i was on a super hot lap when i fell. I think the fron tis bottoming on me. gay.
LWGP: Borrowed dans EX for the race because my hawk was broken, BIG MISTAKE! now i must buy an ex. Those fucking things are fun to ride. I ran a couple 28's with a best of 28.00somthing. I didnt want to push too hard despite almost high siding the bike in 4 and think the bike still had a few seconds left in her.... Came in super last but had a metricshitton of fun. (we have now establish the metricshitton to be the most tonage allowed in conversation.... )
GTL: Went out with a front rain and rear slick in the rain... Nough said.
Met some new people, some forum members that are cool and nowhere near the pricks they seem like online..Great weekend... Next up jersey!
Edit: Drove a sidecar around the pits, handles like a cat on flypaper... Bad ass!!!
Good read bro. Keep that thing on 2 wheels and get your fast self into AM now!
STOP CRASHING!!!
Good job getting consistent.

Shit, Thanks man... ULSB champ, now you have gone and said it.. That would be cool as hell in a couple years after i clear about 30 other hurdles. Thanks for the vote of confidence. To be in the same league as Gino would be an honer. I just keep hoping if i go fast enough and have enough fun he will come racing, along with another friend of mine who needs to be back at the track... Coughyouchough

Two weeks and I will be at the track. Doesn't get any better than that.
