If you guys want to read my blog posts, feel free:

I've got a bunch more pictures to put up, some decent ones from racing and the pits.
Nice job Mark! Next time get your GoPro running so I can see you pass me from a different angle LOL.
By the way #398 is my Pit mate Bruce Marshall, he had some good times as well. I need to turn the throttle more!!
See you out there in a couple weeks
Thanks! Yeah Bruce has a firm hold on that championship, I'm bummed I didn't get my act together on this bike until now, but I can't wait to race with him again. I couldn't see him at the finish of the LWSS race, but I understand he was right on my rear wheel. I'm doing Penguin Advanced again before the race weekend, and if the trend of Eric's instruction plays out I'll be down another 1/2-1 second by Sunday.
I never want to deal with the GoPro while I'm at the track, I'm always messing with (wheel changes, fixing stuff, troubleshooting, etc.) but then when I get back home I'm kicking myself for not using it more. This time I broke the windscreen in that friday crash, and I was too lazy to place another mount on the front fairing for it.![]()
Hi Mark, it was a great race / weekend for you. I had two more races after LWSS so I didn't have a chance to catch up with you. The results show I was .06 seconds behind at the finish, very close. I will probably be at the Advanced school in August also.

Oh great. Eric, make sure you give Bruce the "special" class. He's won enough!
0.06 that is wild. I will never relax my lap times when you're behind me again, that's a great lesson. Now put a camera on your bike, post the videos on youtube, so I can see where I can pass you!
A bunch of pictures from the races, with some good action shots of mid race:

Hey, another Doug! I should get to know more of you guys, I'm always wondering who the hell that is when I'm on track. I know Mark, Ian, Sam, Brady, and Mike, where all are the rest of you at?

PS- Mark, slow up and wait for the rest of us!

Doug,
Bruce,Brady and myself normally pit on the first road of the infield close to the bathrooms.
Mark, hopefully Eric doesn't fill your head with so much info that it sets you back like it did me. I'm just starting to come out of it. It's all good just a lot to digest and got me over thinking everything.
Yup missed a gear coming over the hill and into neutral going into the bowl. All I could do was pull wide and let everyone go bye, bye. Oh well it was still fun!
Thanks Mark, Julie for sharing the pictures, I had the lead for a brief period. LOL
At that moment, getting the tranny undercut seems well worth it huh?
I'm trying to decide if I spend my off season working on my bike, pull the motor, do a Supersport refresh and things like undercut the tranny, or if I should just get one of the FI bikes first and do all that to a bike with more HP to start with.
Trying to balance the desire for more HP, with the teething process for a new bike. By the end of this season I will have fixed all the issues with this one.
Nice work Mark!!! Congrats on the Win!!!!
