After the results of the Classic weekend, I came into this round with a broken foot. That being said, I didn't expect much. I was pretty much just looking to finish my races with a shot at some podiums. As far as the bike, I must say that Peter Kates did an awesome job with straightening it out from the wreck. Serious thanks for that!!
AM GTU
With this being the first race I was a bit nervous, but set everything aside and dropped into a groove. I was running consistent 1:19 until the guy on a black R6 came up beside me on the front straight. He looked over at me, made eye contact, shot in front, then slapped his tail. I literally said "Holy shit!! Why is he waiting for me??" I later discovered that it was Jason Carter trying to, rectify me, so I would stop sweeping the line. His tow landed me my new personal best of 1:17.6. Over all I'd say it was a good way to start the weekend, with a 3rd place finish.

Now I'm going to start off by saying that I had no intention of even running this race because I wasn't high enough in the points to make a difference anyway. That being said, I had an incredible race. Had the lead right from the start until Seth Robinson made a move as Eric was lapping me. This was a short lead for Seth as I took it back going into Turn 1. However, he got me on the last lap in turn 11. As he was coming around the outside, he tightened up his line forcing me to either hit him, the curb, or check up. Well I checked up and he as well as Rodger Ealy Jr. got by leaving me with a 3rd place finish.
AM MWSB
I don't remember much from this race except the Rodger Ealy was moving. I was running consistent 1:19s, with a 3rd place finish.
AM UNSS
I don't even want to talk about this one. All I can say is if something doesn't feel right just stop and evaluate!!
AM MWSS
As a result of the crash in the SS race I set the bike on cruise just to maintain some points. Ended up with a 6th
I want to say thanks again to all the people that helped me out both last round and this weekend. Everything from getting the bike sorted so I could go out, to giving me tips on where I'm screwing up.
Way to get back out there after being injured... solid racing for having a sore foot to deal with!

Those are some pretty amazing results for being slightly mangled, and 17s is no joke! Congrats on the podiums and the new PB!

Carter is a good guy, congrats on the new PB. He never gives me a tow, he just flies by and leaves me in the dust. He has told me my lines are good though.
thanks for being in front of me in T1 once or twice in MWSS, it was pretty cool watching you stick your foot out.

Ahhh, that was you on the slightly noticeable bike.... Was watching you from the grandstands going into T1 during practice and it looked like you and the bike were constantly trying to kill each other.

Congrats on the good weekend Brendin, but lets clear something up. I never "tightened" up my line in 11. I had a good run on you coming out of 10 and committed to the pass well before the bump. When my wheels are passed yours I have the line, and its not my responsibility to leave you a nice open pretty line. It is your responsibility to make the safe decision at that point and you have to accept that you are being passed. I left you enough time to do that so if you almost hit me thats on you. Its not like we were side by side and I chopped your front end. You make it seem like I made a dirty pass so please clear that up.
Not what I ment at all. Had the situation been reversed, I would've done the same thing.
A better look at the video shows that I am a bit off on my description. It appears that you had already past me on the inside and I was trying to pass you back on the inside going into 11. I get confused sometimes, don't take it to heart. ;-)
Good job on the win!!
