NEMM 2015 August Double Header - Mistakes were made! ? OutOfSpec.COM
For those that didn't know already, I'm throwing the towel in for the year. My budget has been zapped and other external events have made me ill thanks to stress. I wasn't even supposed to do this event but my wife agreed that damn it, after all the work to get the bike to this stage I just HAD to ride it.![]()
"That lit a fuse in me that should not have been lit" I've felt that feeling once. Maybe twice.![]()
Josh!!! We didn't get to battle this year.
But you are a great dude and I really want to be around for your comeback.
Dirt biking makes everything better. And it's mostly free. Brap on.

damn!!! sorry to hear about the get off dude!!!
hope you get a quick and complete recover!
we all know this well...bummerThat lit a fuse in me that should not have been lit. I was beyond tired and already forgetting most everything I know about riding, it was not the right time to step up the aggression but that's exactly what I did.
dirt bikes are the best crashers out thereSo, at the moment the Yamaha came through the event beautifully, only one minor scar as a reminder of my stupidity.
but man; you must've gone down hard and awkward...that is a long list of hurting injuries especially since full leathers have some sort of padding
I've gone a couple times...looped wheelie...mx washout...usually land on the knees first; but I never thought to wear knee guards under street leathers...too bulky. sore palms...shoulders banged up but never damaged...back torn soft tissue, but it healed completely and I lift weights with it now. Boots upmost importance but I've done a mean sprain on an ankle that still hasn't fully healed...
