ECK Racing Team Summary 2011 Round #7

For the final LRRS round, ECK Racing was once again in full attendance. Gino was feeling a little under the weather, but toughed it out and once again put in another dominating performance in ULSB. Jake had his new motor back in and ran consistent as always with a smile on his face. Christian unfortunately continued having motor issues but performed well when he was able to get out there. And I made it back in time from Cali to hold my position in the overall standings and nab my first Expert win.

GREAT JOB ECK!!!

It is always a pleasure to share the grids with you guys and looking forward to doing it again in 2012. Hopefully I will be a little bit closer to the front this time :-p

You guys never fail to entertain when I do manage to watch your races, it is almost as much fun as my own turns on the track.

Christian managing to put up some great times despite the huge amount of issues he had this year (man I feel horrible for him). Always has a smile on his face even when things dont go right.
Jake absolutely shredding it up out there and dicing with people who have double the motor. Every time I look at him it makes me wish I started this at his age *cough* 27 years ago.
Gino really defies the laws of physics. By far the smoothest rider I have seen, he really makes things look completely effortless. I appreciate the fact that we think alike and have a kindred spirit to bounce ideas off of.
Pete is just THE MAN. Seriously, the idol of many. Coming to the front of EX in relatively short time and usually outmotored to boot. To say I am impressed would be a massive understatement.

You guys rock and I am truly appreciative that I can share the track with you all. Rock on and see you in 2012!!

Thanks for the kind words, guys.

To say I'm proud of my teammates' accomplishments would be an understatement.

Jake has grown a lot as a racer in the last year. I'm very excited for him and hope he continues to develop as well as he has.

Gino is - well, Gino is Gino. What else needs to be said? He proved to be just as much of an asset to the team as I would have hoped and then some. I can't thank him enough for coming on board to help us out.

Christian showed an incredible amount of mental toughness this year by battling through his motor issues and still performing well when his machine would let him.

And me? Yeah... I'm pretty psyched with how my season went. I didn't quite meet ALL of my season goals, but the race results were certainly there and I owe it all to my friends and teammates.

You guys rule.

Great job Pete especially with all the added stress you had to deal with just getting there!
Great season for ECK. This being my first year on a sport bike much less a track I have a lot to learn and watching you live and on some videos has helped. Glad to have met you even though it was briefly. Looking forward to next year!!

I'll repeat what I've posted elsewhere, it was an extreme pleasure to have shared the garage with the ECK team. You guys really showed the love and helped in so many ways. I can't thank you enough.

Not to mention the talent that this team has! 4 incredible riders competed this season, including the youngest LRRS racer to grid up in 2011.

I am happy to be able to call all of them friends. I hope 2012 is as successful to the team as 2011 was.
