Quick weekend for me. Was on the fence about going up at all but since I'm battling for 3rd in the Ultralight Superbike Championship I headed up.
Got up Friday. Worked on bike, installed new exhaust (sorta) and got rains mounted.
Saturday woke up and it wasn't raining much. Did 4 laps on the track with it basically 95% dry. Rode around like 50% because I didn't know how rains reacted in the dry and all I could think was 'I'm burning up my rains, my money, for what, nothing' so I pitted in.
Saturday ULSB: Gridded 3rd row. Hadn't ridden a dry lap of Loudon on my RMZ in two months. Going to be fun remembering how to ride fast.. Got okay start. was like 6th or 7th into T1. Spent first 2-3 laps moving up into 3rd place. By halfway point I was spent, mentally and physically. Started counting down laps to white flag. Rode really poorly last 3 laps. Biggest moment was going into T1 on final lap when the guy I'm battling with for Championship passed me up the inside going into T1. I just didn't hit the brakes and went around him on the outside. Guess it was neat cause ppl watching kept mentioning it. Rode really defensive lines all last laps trying to keep him behind me.
Crossed line in 3rd. Best lap was 20.6 on last lap, which is a joke cause I could have sworn I did a 33 or something.
Packed up Sat night and headed home, skipping Motard race on Sunday.
Thanks to Desgy and Q at Boston Moto / Pirelli for getting my wheels sorted out.
Have 1 month to get bike and myself sorted. Looking for good finish to the season.

good job in the race mang...sorry Chris and I stood too far back at turn1 and our signals were not seen. We had fun throwing you signals though ahah. And I yelled out when he came into 1 inside you and then you got him on the outside and we were like YAAAAAA

Good show. Got to build up the stamina and go the full 8 rounds. Someone will be knocking on your back door again. Actually, just play your cards right for the next 2 races and come in a position behind and you're in the top 3.
