I showed up at LRRS round 6 wound for sound to race my SV with the new SS motor in it.. That went south as the trans failed on hot pit before practice.
We brought in a ringer to try to fix it quick.
But she could not fix it..
SO .. I happened to have have the Emma's Hawk along to loan out to Ken Condon to race in the USCRA race on Monday..
Screw it I put numbers on the Hawk and ran it through tech and raced it in GTL...
Chuck Boucher shot this nice pic of the two of us ripping through T1
Sadly this happened
I was taken out by another rider at about 100 going into T6 at Loudon.
The bike faired way better than I
8 hours in the Concord ER.. Nothing broken but really beat up and sore. I tore a good hole in my arm too. Ouch.
Trouble, Wild Bill and Joel Robbie patched the Hawk together for Ken to practice with today to make sure he was good to go for the race Monday.
I can't thank those guys enough for what they did!!!
Much love to you guys!!!!
We will fix Maddie better than new over the winter I promise Emma... So sorry I crashed your beautiful Hawk..
Thanks to all my friends and team mates for helping us get packed up and get out of dodge.
PS. The coug did a great job driving home!!

Heal up brotha. See you soon.
Sorry I missed you at the bbq, but gingahninja did a great job manning the grill. We made you a couple plates, so hope you got to try some of the pork loin I brought.
Heal up, bro.

I'm feeling pretty good now. The heel still hurts like hell and the elbow is stiff as a wooden prick.. Wendy just changed my dressing and said my booboo looks much better..
Thanks again to all for the help and well wishes...
I can't state enough how well the track personnel took care of me. The crew at LRRS are first rate. So glad to have them there to help us out at our toughest times.
I want also give a shout out to the crew that took care of me at the Concord ER. I can't imagine a better experience at an ER.. I would have loved to have left earlier but as more bruises appeared they wanted to take more pictures and run more tests to make sure I was good to go...![]()

There's truth and charm and beauty
And strangeness everywhere
The closer we examine
The more there's nothing there
My coworker and I were first at the scene of the wreck.
You said that you thought you were okay, but needed a minute.
I called for the ambulance, then noticed the torn leather arm and blood...
Glad you're okay!
Steve
Hope you have a speedy recovery man and sorry you had some issues. Anything I can help with Maddie, let me know.
Thanks for your help. You did great. My communication was a little hesitant as I was trying really hard to not barf all over the place.... I think all the tumbling made me motion sick. It felt like I tumbled for about a half mile. Lol.
I can say that hitting air fence is kinda cool but I don't want to do it again..
Thanks again to the care givers at the track. They did a fantastic job.

Double crap weekend
Heal up. Hopefully quick enough for some NCCAR fun.
Glad to hear you are in good spirits. Hopefully Emma isn't too torn up over her baby :-)
I am sure you will heal up quickly under Wendy's care (and food!) so I will simply say that I am glad you are relatively alright and look forward to seeing you in October!
YOU ROCK!
