NV #117 Round 6 Trouble

[Trouble]

Long story short, I managed to take two first place finishes: NV Ultra GTL and NV ULSB. Not only that but I took second place overall in both of those races managing to beat most of the LW bikes in the class ahead of me. The bigger victory for me was managing to drop my PB for the year down to a 1:27.2. It's the fastest lap since my injury last spring and I was getting really frustrated not being able to make it past the 1:29 mark this year.

Big thanks to Wild Bill for the tough love, the LDR crew for the good times and great camaraderie, my teammates on GMR for all the help in the pits, Gino for the fuel pump, Andy for getting my radiators and Pete for the visualization advice.

Thanks for the cheering squad! That was the corner that I could most comfortably pass Doug and it took me three tries to do it. I definitely need to work on my passing confidence, as well as a few other things. Little things like braking later and a more liberal application of the throttle...

All things come in time =). I personally find that the skills of actual riding come far easier than developing good racecraft. It will get there!
