Screen name should be right below the thread title in either the race reports main forum or in the "today's posts" page.

Nope, once someone else posts in a thread, you can't tell who originated it... at least on the recent posts page...

Might be your view...because mine shows the thread starter just under the thread name and the last poster on the right under last post.

In the recent threads list, which is about the only thing I browse, I only see the screen name of the last person that posted.
