Or two of each color 500' spools.

I’ve been saving a set of wire for a 100 amp, 220 volt, 3-wire service (1-1/4” conduit.) It would be (3) #3 and (1) #6. Not sure how long it is, if you’re interested I can roll it out and measure.

overkill is ok when it comes to wire size, specially on long runs

Saw that, but just confirmed with the electrician pulling my permit that it can be any color. As long as I color code it at the ends with tape, I'm good.
