I see that era gsxr 750s all the time but pass on them. I like the air-cooled versions better. I will keep a look out.

I was in communication with someone with a 93 gixxer 750, he seemed on the fence about letting it go, and I read it was the fattest most underpowered gix750… so I didn’t push.

It is. If it had a cool color scheme I would overlook that though. I feel the air-cooled ones are far superior to those fat ones. Lighter, easier to work on, more reliable etc.

Have you considered a zx7? You can buy just about any year and they are all basically the same past 93.

I don’t know about more reliable, but otherwise agree. The 1990 750 with the longer stroke engine was the best of the era.
