I could never stomach spending 900 on an ak. You can build a top middle tier ar for that cost.
The whole point of the am was that it is cheap to produce and buy so you use it till it breaks then throw it away and grab a new one from the crate.
And they do that very well but if your paying twice the price then you are really defeating the purpose of having one. That's the way I feel at least. Hell if you know where to look and are patient you can still build a law enforcement grade ar for around 6 to 700.

It is so hard to get a full auto Ak it's not funny. More licenses and fed tax stamps, and a HUGE bank account.

My newest AK.
A Maadi RPM. Similar to the RPK, but a slightly shorter barrel. I love my AKMs, 2 Maadis and one WASR. Never had an issue with any of them. I doubt I ever will.

so you don't have the ability to have it in your hands, most sellers post pics of serial #s The guy I purchased my SKS from, fosted some of the serial# that were visible without tear-down even the firing pin has a # the wooden stock, cleaning kit in the stock, everything, my numbers all matched
I see part of the serial # on the gun pictured in the link, lower right hand corner

Have a Arsenal Sam7r ( Milled), WASR, Polish and a Arsenal SGL-21 since thread was started.
The Sam7 and Polish are smooth as butter but doubt I could ever sell off the Russian
Range toys and cool factor. However there is a reason you never see aks at 3guns.
