I always thought these were kind of neat

But otherwise I second the Grom/Z125/Monkey. I’ve had one of each; the Z125’s are usually the cheapest
So, you’re sayin’ turbo ‘busa is out?
Fat tire flier (Yamaha TW200) was a lot of fun….

These are awesome. The Z’s and groms just don’t do it for me. I had a Z before and it was alright but I would much rather have a classic appeal.
So far I’m looking at possibly a Yamaha chappy, a monkey, older cub’s/trails/CT’s. Possibly an older manual Vespa if one shows up.
Those little dual sports look amazing and real close but I don’t think I’d be able to do it justice riding it around for icecream on Sundays. Especially when I have a number of dirt-friendly bikes already at my dispense (890r,xt250,crf150f,250xcf).
Maybe a cbr swapped grom would be fun but is it really a grom at that point?
I'm currently in Colombia on a business trip and the motorcycle scene is really interesting here. Colombia is a country where there are more motorcycles than cars. Lots of weird brands I've never seen before (I think they are made here). Since people are using motorcycles as the main form of transport, they are very different from the ones you see in the US. Most are 125s I think, you see things like long rear fenders, full chain covers, kickstarters, etc. The machines seem really simple and easy to repair. I suspect the engines are old Honda knockoffs.
Here is a typical model (there are many others that look like this):

I have picked up several aftermarket bits for my K-Pipe from Otom Racing out of Cuenca Ecuador, they have an Amazon store https://www.amazon.com/s?i=merchant-...=A9WN827N8Q4HF

I think every time Randy says k-pipe everyone should have to take a shot.

College roommate had a Honda CB175. Pretty nice bike for the day.

i had a great time on my tw200 but it's not super exciting
I just started working on a Baja 196cc minibike this weekend. Just putting a Chinese carb on it got it to do 35MPH.
I’ve had a 1978 Honda XL100 sitting in my barn for the last 5 years or so. I need to evaluate it at some point and see if it runs and drives, but I’ve been wanting to do this as my first “real” restomod project. Very similar to the Kawi Clinton posted.
I went to MMI I know what Im doing here chief
back in early 70's, my GF at the time had a Harley Davidson Baja 100, (built for Harley by Aermacchi )
