Hey all, I'm looking for a cheap fishtank...
I know one of you had to have one, then let it sit and now it's in storage...
Well, give it to me.
I've had saltwater fish tanks for well over 25 years, but it's been a few years since I had anything.
Ideally I'd like a 55gal or larger.
My plan is cichlids this time.
Cheap to free is best....
What ya got??
DO you need the whole set up, or just a tank and stand?

I have a smaller one. I think it's 25 or 35 gal. It's yours if you want it.
I've got nothing. I'm looking for a setup...
Note that most people who start fish tanks end up feeling like bubba.
In my case it's generational. This crap was my mothers.
I've had fresh and saltwater. Salt soo beautiful but needs careful attention and it would have been cheaper to buy a yacht. LOL!
90g bow front. I have an empty 15g. An will probably sty that way.
African's are most aggressive. south american's are cool. Fire mouths, Jack Dempsey, Red Oscars are cool. I used to hand feed my oscar. Got to about 15" then got some disease head rot.. Too many feeder fish. goldfish. parasites...
Yeah, Kenn....I was thinking south American as opposed to the African.
Colin...I'll shoot you a pm, for some odd reason I don't have your cell #....
Why didn't I think of asking this question? Instead I bought/stole a 28gal bowfront from Petsmart during their recent sale. First tank I've had since I was a teenager and the first one I am doing right (cycling). I can walk to a reef store but 3 or 4 existing bad habits plus child support are enough already. I'm building a moderately planted FW tank.
I've got an old 65 gallon glass tank that I used to have a saltwater setup for. I've been meaning to set it up again but have moved twice with it. My house doesn't really have space for it. I'll hold onto the filters and lighting. It'll need a top cover but shoot me a pm if interested.
