WTB: 50mm woodcraft clip-ons (or similar)

Woodcraft clip ons are superior to Vortex. If you ever have to take off the clip on, you'll new to remove the top triple on a Vortex. the woodcraft design is split, which makes easy removal and installation.

Woodcraft clip ons are superior to Vortex. If you ever have to take off the clip on, you'll new to remove the top triple on a Vortex. the woodcraft design is split, which makes easy removal and installation.

Ian, just remember to purchase a spare set of bars from Woodcraft. they're $15/each. you'll need to put at least one of them in a vise to drill them for your controls. always a smart idea to have them pre-drilled before going to the track. it lessens your repair time & gets you back on track quicker.

I was planning to get at least one extra before my next track debut. however, I didn't realize they needed to be drilled. What do they have to be drilled for, just a mounting hole?

The controls have a piece of plastic that sticks through the bar so the controls do not rotate or slide on the bar.

most track only bikes (like mine) wont have the tab. mine has been shaved off with a grinder, so i dont have to pre-drill my bars.

however on a street bike, you would want to keep that tab. it prevents the controls from spinning around the bar. on my track bike, i just tighten the crap out of my controls, so they cant spin (much).

yup. i dont drill my bars. the throttle control doesnt have a tab anymore
