CR85 Big Wheels

In the off chance -- if anyone's got CR85 big wheels/swingarm and interested in trading for small wheels + cash, hmu. Not looking to spend a bundle but it might be worth a few hundred to me. For some reason I picked up a 2005 CR85RB for a "side project", but it came with the standard wheels.

Side note, these little motors are so *cute*.

had a '97 80r mini moto...man it was nuts...gave 250f's a scary run for their money on tight cart tracks

I was gonna ask what the project is cause that motor demands skillz. You are looking for the 16"/19" combo, correct? I have them, but it would cost you all the billz to get them from me. As in, not over my dead body... haha. Finding them cheap will not be easy. I sourced the rear wheel on ebay. It was 250.

Yes 16/19 combo. Oh man.. you're not kidding I've priced it out on eBay they aren't cheap when you throw the swingarm in there.

Just thought it'd be fun to rebuild and play with - friend has the identical bike and man it is vicious. Entertained the idea of a 100 overbore + steahly weight to see how close I could get it to a trail bike, but then add in the cost of the big wheels and I'd rather save my pennies.

I'm procrastinating my DR rebuild and wanted a cheap 2T project before I went and tore something else apart so this was the perfect find.

Happy with my spend so far. Have a full rebuild kit in the mail already. Just a few doodads and unless I bork something up it should be a nice little machine. Plastics & seat look factory new (although I am missing side panels and number plate).

Wish parts were this cheap for the KTM

As luck would have it, the CR85 16" rear is not going to work for me. It is available cheap. Complete with sprocket and rotor for 200.

Not a bad deal but I need the entire setup and that'd put me at another $250+, going to hold off for now (also being in Maine is a bit tricky)

All set! Scored a full big setup w/ swingarm, Excel rear + Talon hub for about $200 shipped

Fingers crossed there are no surprises when they show up but all looks good.

Wasn't expecting it! Scanning eBay deals every few days and it popped up - waited until the last 3 minutes and still no bids. Someone was in a rush to sell and posted a short auction.
