    Shipping crate for bike (DRZ400)

Hi All - does anyone have a crate that would fit a DRZ400 that they could part with? Need to ship one out to CO, and I've got no time over the next few weeks.. having something in-hand would make life much easier.

    Please PM.

    Thanks!
    Scott

    Wirelessly posted (HTC EVO "DROID" : Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.2; en-us; Sprint APA9292KT Build/FRF91) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1)

You could hit up some dealers. I'm sure just about any full size dirt bike crate will work

I assume you know that some places will ship uncrated? If not, check out www.ama-cycle.org as the shipping company used to be a sponsor

Last winter, I helped ship a Beta REV 3 to CA by removing the wheels and front end, and just strapping the whoe thing to a wood pallet. Perhaps you could do something similar? Remove both wheels - remove the entire triple clamp/fork assembly - remove the rear shock and collapse the suspension - and strap eveything down flat?

I have a crate in my warehouse. It is for a streetbike. But the DRZ will work, might have to remove the bars.

Come and Get it. It has wood sides and top, I got it when I had a RS125 shipped to me by Forward Air.

Email or PM for more details . Its in Bedford NH.
