I've always had VFRs, which means I've never needed a stand. Any recommendations for manufacturers or places to buy? Thanks.
Looking for quality stands that won't break the bank? My recommendation is t-Rex.

I got mine from cyclegear....they have a website. I got a pitbull it's super sturdy, easy to use and the one I have will fit ANY bike. Well worth the 120....they usually have free shipping over a certian $ amount too....

I love my Woodcraft stand. I have a Suzuki rear stand that uses the spools on the swing arm. I've had absolutely no trouble with either and the bike is solid when on just the rear or both stands.
Both also offer a lot of leverage...pretty sure my 6 year old niece could put the bike in the air if she wanted.
Seriously though, I have used several stands over the years and even if we weren't carrying them (not really a big mover anyway), I have always preferred Pit-Bull. You can beat on them mercilessly and they'll never break, and you can replace wear items like rubber feet on the fork-lift stand and such. Well worth the investment IMO.
other than the additional $15, is there any reason not to go with a forward handle rear stand for a single sided swingarm bike? having the handle facing forward seems easier to manage alone...
