picked up a 1997 cbr600f3 last sunday for my roommate. 10 minutes later it was torn down and pete, tj & i made a list of parts it needs so far.
before i order the parts, i wanted to see if anyone had any for sale in their "random box of parts" collection. i don't really know honda's line very well, but i'm sure some of these parts fit older/newer years and models as well.
the immediate list:
- chain & sprockets 06406-MAL-G01 (aftermarket parts are fine)
- fuel pump 16710-MAL-601 (it's a carb bike, but has an external fuel pump)
- bar end 53105-MN4-010
- throttle grip 53140-ML7-000
- throttle cable A 17910-MV9-000
- right handlebar 53100-MV9-000 (probably can salvage the current one, but throwing it out there)
also looking for right side and tail plastics (black with red & white streak version) if someone has them laying around.

i have a fuel pump from my 01 zx6r.... it's carb'd... basically the same thing. just give it 12 volts. let me know
I wouldnt be surprised if the pumps were nearly identical and even had the same wiring... they probably came from the same supplier lol.
I can take a picture later.. if it looks like yours and something you want to try, let me know.
Jamie, ask how muchIf the answer is "free" I'll at least try to make it work

lol ok. you can even pull yours off and see if it works and if the fuel pump is even your problem to begin with.
I had an issue where i couldnt get a pump to work... couldnt figure it out.. replaced the relay and that didnt fix it either. i ended up hard wiring the fuel pump to the battery with a switch in it... worked perfectly since the pump is internally regulated. just had to remember to turn it off when i stopped the bike.
give the f3 pump 12v and see if it fires.
The fuel pump was pissin fuel... it definitely needs replacing.
