Its a long shot but figured i'd ask.
Helping a friend do fork seals on his 2007 CRF230F but the wrong parts showed up after a week wait. I'd like to get him the bike back saturday, so he has time to ride with his son before some surgery. Anyone have a spare OEM pair laying around? I can get all balls shipped for tomorrow, but i read some negative reviews on that brand for seals.
Trying local dealers but not holding my breath.
thanks

Just go with aftermarket seals. Ive done well with parts unlimited seals and have had good luck with all balls as well.

thats funny. i've used all balls bearings and like them but i don't think their fork seals so i was apprehensive. no experience with parts uliminted ones but, I called up cliffs (should have an hour ago) and they actually had parts unlimited (oil seals only) on the shelf. Not liking to do jobs twice they ordered me a moose/msr set of oil/dust seals and should be in tomorrow am for the same price as overnighted all balls. and i get to support a local business. win win.
cliffs said they've had really good luck with parts unlimited. thats good to know.
Call Factory Connection you'll have them the next day and there quality is better than oem parts.
