this has been a frustrating project, trying to make a trackworthy bike out of this POS 1st gen sv.its been way more of a project than i expected. it was sooo neglected. i could find these last few items on ebay, but i'd rather buy from folks on here first.
i still need:
-tires. interested in very good condition take offs or new. DOT race compounds or slick 160/120 sizes.
-gsxr brake master cylinder and lines to fit an 04 gsxr front end that i swapped onto the sv. OR.... i do have a brembo master, but i need a brembo double banjo bolt to make the lines work with it, since originally it had a single line.
-tach (not essential, but it would be nice). if i cant find a decent priced aftermarket one, i'll get a vapor unit.
-front gsxr fender, dont care what shape its in as long as its not cracked.
-advice as to how to rig my choke cable, since the LH bar controls are broken. maybe mount it on the clutch perch with a peice of aluminum and a pull knob or something?
