Yeah, thread #2 on this subject, but I wanted to give credit where credit is due.
I picked up my 07 1000RR today and things couldn't have gone better.
First off the sales manager did right when I called to tell him that people on here had told me about the price of the same bike that was selling at Nault's.
Since things were going well up to that point, I still wanted to give them my business and the manager agreed to drop another $1000 of the price of the bike, even after I had signed all of the paperwork.
Since I had to have another RMV-1 drawn up, and taken to my insurance company (2.5 hours from Bettencourts and in the completely different direction that I had come), the finance manager mentioned that I didn't have to drive all the way out to western MA and that I could get a courtesy stamp from another agency that serves Commerce and they found one that was less than a mile away.
In other words, they went the extra mile to help me out.
So,to Bettencourts.
So you think the fact that you called them and got another 1k$ off is a good thing? Maybe Im odd but that tells me to avoid that place...
Glad to hear you got a pimping bike for short $ in the end though, that is a sweet ride and a good addition to your growing Honda sportbike museum.
RIP haggling over 1000$

I can understand, you get into a deal and you later find out they are trying to give you the zucchini chair - they could have said FU just as easy as you could have gone elsewhere, so it's fair that they did amend things I guess since its less time wasted elsewhere.
In the end I can see the savings of hassle, but I just out of principal wouldn't give them my funding.
Truth is, when the new vfr lands - if they give me the best price for it, they'll get my business though![]()
Im going to stick up for Bettencourts. When I lived in Brockton (my 1st bike many years back) I had a loose chain and went there and they adjusted it for free and lubed it up.
Small deal but seriously Parkway woud'nt do that, neither would Riverside. It's just the way they treat you as a customer out there that really is a step up from the norm.
Putting his hands in the air, like he just doesn't care.
