Kudos!
North Reading Motorsports wasn't equipped to program the new FOB for the C-14, so I called these guys, in Arlington, a half hour, $50.00 bucks, out the door! One of their writers, Rachell, very helpful. Jimmy's Steer House across the street for a little mid-day prime rib and out the door with the bike. Everyone there, first impression, seems like they like working there, a good sign, no?![]()
I like Jimmys! Love the rice pilaf!
Git the fuck outta here Scotti, you know Rachel? Man, like the PGA Tour, these guys at Greater Boston are good! You guys got good bike shops up here in N.E.. I had ONE I could trust in Northern Virginia, I been to three up here and every experience has been golden. They already got my bike in their Kawasaki system, recalls recorded against my VIN, what is better than THAT? I ain't shittin' on North Reading for not bein' able to re-program my new FOB quick-like, mindja, only celebratin' Greater Boston Motorsports for fixin' me up on the Q.T.. Rachel made a promise two days before, it's a busy shop, she kept her promise, and I ate like a pig at Jimmy's while I was waiting. Dinner-cut bloody-as-hell prime rib at noon! Love that place!
Meanwhile, it ain't North Reading Motorsport's fault I'm the first idiot in their customer base lost his FOB for a C-14.
Don't ask what it cost me, but that ain't their fault either...![]()

This is the first positive thread about GBM i have ever seen. Unless they have revamped their staff, or hired new people I won't even go in there anymore. Some of the people are nice, yeah, but that whole organization has its head up its ass.
i went there for something awhile back and they said leave the bike for couple days. fuck that.
"fuckit!"
I bought my bike at GBM because they had the color I wanted when all the other dealers didn't. The buying experience was good but the parts and service departments are a little lacking. Had them mount a tire on my CBR 600 back in the day and it was a week long ordeal. Then I went in to try on helmets and the sales guy was less than helpful. They are no longer local to me so I don't go out of my way to go there. They did expand their parts and accessories department.
I like International Motorsports in Auburn and Performance in Shrewsbury for service. They both did great work on bikes I own or have owned.
