They did recall a batch of mounts; I had one fail, emailed them, and they sent me a new set and advised me to please throw away the old ones.
Yours may have been in the same batch.
Well after the advice listed here to contact them, I did such a thing. 2 days after the responded to my email, which itself was like a day after I sent it, I have a new case and mount thing sitting on my desk. I'm still a little leery about mounting it so that it doesnt break again or fall off, but at least their customer support is amazing.
