I made something similar with turn buckles. Not nearly as slick at that. Mine was just for hauling bikes to Barber.

I would pay $50 for some soft close hinged on my Ram. I would not pay $229 for multi-position, soft close hinges.

I could definitely use those...but I'm way to cheap to pay $229 for them. Maybe $40-$50
