Big thumbs up to the guys at Lynde Motorpsorts.

Was headed home from West Wardsboro this morning after a few days of relaxing. Wife was following me in her car. Developed a serious wobble on the bike.
Turns out that the nut on the rear axle backed itself out and the rear wheel was loose. Not having a 46mm socket, I was in a bit of a pickle. Was stuck in Marlboro( I think).
Wife drove ahead a bit looking for a hardware store and stumbled across these guys. She went in, talked to the guys and drove back to the gas station I was stuck at with the biggest adjustable wrench I have ever seen. They just let her borrow it, no questions asked. Tightened up the nut and caught the guys at the shop as they were leaving for lunch. Returned the wrench and let them know how much I appreciated the help. If you are ever in the area, stop by and check them out. Got some cool projects going on.
I got my first bike from these guys. The owner is an ex-hippie who travels all over the place, one of the nicest guys I've met in a while.
Excellent shop and there are always gearheads hanging around just shooting the shit![]()

I have known Stan Lynde for a number of years (He actually bought my Dad's Victoria Bergermiester <sp>) Stan is one of the shining stars of the motorcycle community. Stan is extremely generous with his time his knowledge and on occasion his tools and shop space.
Guys as classy as Stan are few and far between!
