Can the title of this thread be changed to "9secondsflat rules and everyone else is an unsuccessful dickhead loser!"
You know, just for the sake of "accuracy"?
Good luck with your jacket Jay.

So how's this business doing now?
What year was that? Have you found new employment yet?
Not sure why I remembered this..oh yeah, it was because you signed up and tried to pimp your shit in other threads rather than donate 5 bucks and get access to the forsale section

Think that's funny?

What's 50k to a mothafucka like me can you please remind me
My suit took forever
They were honest and basically said they are making suits for racers etc. that need them by next weekend so they have no time or interest in the once in a lifetime street trade. I told them yeh and I have a club race coming so please......

Got a message yesterday and today. Tried to call back and he was on the other line. Still not happy that I'm going through this hassle to attempt to resolve problems that should not exist.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
hey awesome i hope u get it resolved soon. 1 point we did learn from this post is that barry's a dick
This Barry reminds me of a kid in highschool , always bragging about what he could do or has done ,. Always making a mountain out of a molehill to try and make himself look good .
Kinda funny , few yrs back at the 20 yr reunion ,we saw him again , still claiming to be the big businesss man making tons of cash.
Turns out he was affiliated with a nice size construction company.
Somehow he got the daughter to marry him , and her father HAD to give him a job.
Evryone still laughes at him.

Legend in my own mind
So here's the resolution to the issue. No work has been performed on the jacket in 4 or 5 weeks since I brought it in, even though they assured me it would take one week to complete and ship back to me. The owner , Mike, says he does not want to do the alterations because I posed here expressing my displeasure with their service. I asked if anything I had stated was inaccurate, and he tells me that yes it was, but he could not, and would not say what was inaccurate after asking him three times.
So here's the overview of the experience.
Bring in the jacket, quoted one week for the alterations.
Call two weeks later, no information, no return call.
Call a week later, no information, no return call.
Call a week later, express my displeasure with the service and communication. Two days later, returned call stating the jacket is at the end of the process and nearly complete.
Call the following week, again express my displeasure with the service and communication. Return call, the jacket is waiting for a material shipment for the alterations to begin.
Post my review on NESR about the horrible service that I'm receiving. The jacket has not begun any work, and they are refusing to perform the alterations and will be shipping the jacket back to me.
Anyone keeping up with the thread going to be buying a vanson soon or going in for alterations?
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
Wow, way to guarantee that you will never be a customer of theirs ever again. I've always lusted after a Vanson for the protection they provide, but at this point I don't think I could justify giving money to somebody that will refuse to perform work they originally agreed to do. There are just too many other options out there.

What would really get under my tittie is that they told you it was just about complete 3-4 weeks into the process, not so much it was taking longer than promised. And yet here it is, NO WORK has been performed yet? Also the fact that now I'd hafta go pick it up or trust that they'll ship it. Either way, it's cost me money simply to be humiliated. But it was extremely thoughtful of 9seconddecisionmakingprocess to get this resolved on your behalf...
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
I'm really on the fence about purchasing with them now. i wasnt planning on going to them for repairs anyways, but this is terrible customer service. So what if one pissed off customer posts about their experience online. That means they're not interested in making things right? Good work 9seconds.
i'm getting a new suit this winter and have been debating on Vanson vs Heroic.
That 9secondresolution dude.... man, what a great guy!!! Glad he could help you out, Jay!

I'm not their typical customer, so they probably won't give a damn. But I won't be driving down to check them out anytime soon.
Just want to edit to say that really sucks. What a really pompous attitude to take towards your customers.

Jim,
I have my suit in for repair and is supposed to be ready by the end of this week. I guess we'll see. I'd take a small delay in service for the security that a Vanson suit provides.
As for Heroic's service, I am in the market for a new pair of gloves after my off last week. Once I posted up on Facebook about it and heard from a couple top LRRS racers (Tyler Sweeney and Alex Guilbeault) about Heroic, several people pinged Todd McNabney, the owner, telling him I was looking. Todd not only friended me on Facebook, he also took the time to personally email me with answers to my questions.
After a quick call with him, I also learned that he is going to be at the Classic with product and his leather sewing machine for on the spot alterations or repairs. I will most likely be grabbing a pair of the SP-R Pro gloves at the classic. I wanted to order ASAP, but I want to get the sizing right.
The fact that he's a douche has nothing to do with the issue here. He's under no obligation to resolve my issue, and is in no part a piece of it, other than forwarding my review to them.
Let's not lose site of what this is about, which is the service that I have received from all levels of the Vanson organization. Their lack of communication, blatant lies, inability to live up to their quotes and contracts, and the manor in which they handle customer complaints and dis-satisfaction.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
That's only cuz he's soft.
Harden the FUCK up, Chuck!
