We are working to get this all finalized for 2013. Right now we have all of our Loudon dates up on the site and ready to go, as well as our December Homestead date. We are looking at a number of options for the events at NJMP, and we are trying to make our best evaluation of the readiness of the NYST for faster riders before making the full commitment to a date. NYST is going to be a nice place, but understandably it is going to take a while before they have the infastructure (like garages and large capacity classrooms) or all the safety considerations (a separate pit in/pit out road to ensure rider safety while exiting and entering the track). I know that they are going to do a bunch more clearing of runoff areas, but since Penguin has a wide variety of riders (ranging from new to the racetrack to expert racers), we need to be sure that the areas are adequate for this entire range. I think that the layout has a ton of potential, but we want the place to be ready when we arrive. We are also considering an event at Barber again (two different dates) as well.
I welcome any feedback regarding any of this information. Please feel free to post here or email us at info@penguinracing.com

i got a bit confused from the website unfortunately, maybe the fact that I am sick has something to do with it.
But what is the best package for someone who will be racing for the first time and planning on doing all 7 NHMS weekends? I know I have to do penguin to get licensed but that would be my first weekend.
same here Barber is on the bucket list, but sounds like not for to long. Ive heard nothing but great things about the track & the museum. Should be a great time. Hope they penguin does a day or two. Everyone i've talked to really wants to do Barber as well. As soon as the dates are up im booking it, no doubt

You won't be able to sign up for any lrrs event through penguin, only the Friday practices. Haven't checked the site, but usually they have a discounted package for buying the Fridays in advance...not sure how this will work with your first weekend being the penguin basic program.

If I were going to all of the events, this woudl definitely be the way to go. The link to the practice season pass is below. As Brendin says, you can upgrade the practice to a school anytime....we try to be easy!

Duly noted about Barber, we are working on it. I love that place....probably my #1 favorite track right now.
Are the nj dates strictly t-bolt or lightning? Would there be a 2 day event to do both tracks?
Any of the dates that we schedule at NJMP will be at the Thunderbolt Course. I'm not a real fan of the amenities (or lack thereof) at Lightning and I also feel that there are a couple potential safety concerns there. I should know more about NJMP shortly.
I know that some guys enjoy the track for sure. The only down sides for PRS is that Lightning does not have any garages or shelter....and there are a couple spots that you do not want to crash.
