Thanks to everyone for coming out and making it a great first weekend. We had more entries than we've had in a long time. Fuller grids make for great racing, and we definitely saw our share this weekend. Tell all your freinds what a great time LRRS is, and better yet - invite them up to either watch or to come play with us. The more the merrier.....
Keep on battling Shane like that and the stands will fill themselves.
A man of many names...Jay, Gennaro, Gerry, etc.
Graham was telling me about the registrations! That is awesome! Obviously you/we are doing something right with the series!!

on the extra runoff in T1A.
When I first went out for practice Thursday morning, I wasn't too happy about the new pitout. The tighter, slower corner is a bit challenging on a 125 which has the low speed turning radius of a semi truck. The slower pitout speed also leads me to slip the clutch all the way to T3 if I want to reach a safe speed to blend into the traffic.
Of course, a few laps into my first session of the season, I ran out of talent dealing with the notorious T1A on a cold morning, and watched my bike slide to a stop without hitting anything.
Sure, the new pitout is a bit more of a pain, but the new runoff more than makes up for it!
A big thanks to you and the rest who continuously work on making the track safer for all of us!

I too liked that my bike didn't slam into a tire wall in 1a when it went for a surf

Great weekend for sure. The center garages were quite full as well. Sorry I missed the nights festivities and Sunday. I had targets to put down for my PP.
Now only if there can be a practice announcement (Schedule) in Tech about what had changed. I know, I know it is in the rule book, but we all know how that goes! I made all my session......
Maybe a lil more volume in the center garage speakers.

Watching the fastest guys through T10 and T11 is really entertaining. That section of track morphs into a chicane. Thanks for the show!

I feel like if you had started to lowside into any of those three, they would have just put their foot on your outside footpeg and righted your bike, Matrix style.

I wasn't going to say this.. or maybe I already did. But as a 1st time spectator, I couldn't get over how fast the 'fast guys' were. Eff me.
I had the camera with me and was trying to get some 'tracking' shots. I was starting to feel cocky with the cars and then the newbs... only to have to jack the shutter speed up and up to keep those guys in focus.
I'd heard stories about how they take T6-9, but wasn't quite sure I really believed it. Wow!
