um... unless you're running or skipping up and down those stairs they're fine assmunch. nevermind that there are only 5 steps and there is a railing there.
so its "through rain, snow, sleet, dead of night...." but not ice eh?

Think about it for a second, if your mailman/lady has 300 stops and has to go up 300 sets of ice covered steps, he/she is at 300% more risk of slipping and falling on ice. Trust me, the last thing the mailman/lady wants to do is lug your mail around for another day..but they have to considder their safty and the post office rules.
My mother is a mail carrier, she usually gets home nice and early after snowstorms because people don't clear a way to the mail box, so it cuts her stops in half.
So why is this mailman bitching,... he could cut his day short and spend the rest of the time swilling down some brews at the nearest bar. :drink:
