Old school auto mechanic around Boston
I've got a '58 Ford F-100 that I would like to hand off to someone to do some work. Ideally I'd like to find some 80 year old guy that's been working on these forever and won't be confused by its lack of a MAP sensor, although I know almost anyone could work on it without much trouble.
I don't need much done, but if it went well I would probably be interested in rebuilding my engine in the near future.
I'm in Watertown but willing to travel for a good job. Any recommendations?

Cool! Mine's not a flathead, but it sounds like he knows what he's doing.

Chris Moulton is a member on here. He works at Salem66 in Pelham, and does a bunch of restoration type work and work on older cars and trucks.

I hear Chip Foose and Dave Kindig do nice work. Bit of a drive though.

Take it to Foose if you want the bumpers shortened, a staggered/gradient paint job, ugly wheels, a Magnaflow exhaust ...
