I've got a '58 Ford F-100 that I would like to hand off to someone to do some work. Ideally I'd like to find some 80 year old guy that's been working on these forever and won't be confused by its lack of a MAP sensor, although I know almost anyone could work on it without much trouble.
I don't need much done, but if it went well I would probably be interested in rebuilding my engine in the near future.
I'm in Watertown but willing to travel for a good job. Any recommendations?
Superior Automotive in Westford, Ma. He holds two records on the Bonneville Salt flats running a flathead Ford. He specializes in older vehicles. Superior Auto Service - Westford, MA tell him Sheppo sent you.
Chris Moulton is a member on here. He works at Salem66 in Pelham, and does a bunch of restoration type work and work on older cars and trucks.
I hear Chip Foose and Dave Kindig do nice work. Bit of a drive though.
