Still hunting.
Leaning towards a 999s but let me know what you have or know of.
There's a cheap 748 on Facebook. 3500 I think. Looks decent. I can't paste the link for some reason but it's easy to find.
Not cheap bikes but some nice examples of clean keepers.

Thanks, I’ve seen those ones on FB.
There is a reason they have been listed for so long.
I was hoping a member here had one they are looking to sell.

999 Mono $6,400
I messaged the guy on the 999 mono in Attleboro. He didn't know the last time the belts were done. Then he added recently that the body work on it that "fell off" when he was riding it. Never crashed you say, just the bodywork fell off. Ya that's not the bike you are looking for. That was an update as people must have gone to look at the bike and saw the crashed panels and walked away and probably told him to mention that in the ad and not waste people time.
Send cash... I need a track day

Not a lot of details from the seller but promising asking price.
Sick bike! Hows it ride?
I like that later model R swingarm. Very nice!

Bike was sitting for years so it needs to be gone through before I can get a good ride in.
Belts, fluids and tires.
Also has a small oil leak coming from the horizontal valve cover gasket.
The original owner never got it fixed under warranty and just put a cup under it and continued to ride.
Luckily it’s only done 1700miles so the mess isn’t that bad.
Hopefully get it all sorted out in a couple weeks.
