I picked up a set of 2 piece set of leathers from mycirus that needed the circumference zipper repaired. The actual zipper mechanism was broken while all the teeth were fine. Tony, the owner I assume said he would replace the zipper, no problem, but he was actually able to repair existing one. He also warrantied the work for 1 year which was pretty cool. He uses YKK zippers which is a popular brand name on a lot of leathers.
I was very impressed with his demeanor and quality of work. It is nice to see someone who really is customer oriented and that really cares about his work. He specializes in Orthopedic Prescription Work. I googled leather repair and called around to a ton of places and no one would touch the suit but him. He is in a small shop in the municipal section of Framingham.
He used to hand make leather clothes so is very familiar with all kinda of leather repairs and said he'd work on any leather suit. His prices are very reasonable as he only charged me $50 for my zipper. I'm sure that was a PITA job.
So if you need your leathers repaired, patched or cleaned I'd give them a call. Fast turn around time too(1 week). I bet he'd tailor them too..
He also repairs gloves and boots...
