Selling this unique cafe project that I got here on NESR 6 months ago.

    1972 Yamaha DT2 250cc single.

So far since getting it, I have gone through the forks, installed new seals and Seal Savers; new Clubman handlebar installed; new throttle cable; carb stripped and cleaned (ultrasonic); new Uni-Filter air filter; petcock cleaned. The steering bearings felt good. I've had fun, but if this is all the progress I've made in 6 months, it will take me 6 years to finish (I should live so long).

Running premix now. The oil pump is still there and looks good, so I'm guessing you could go back to oil injection with a tank and lines. Things I would do next: drain and flush gas tank, add fresh premix, start up. Motor is free. I pulled out the spark plug and pumped in an ounce or so of oil to coat the rings while it sits waiting to be re-born. Needs steering stops and rear sets figured out. Includes Cycle Gear shop stand (a $9.99 value!). Bill of sale $425.

PM with interest. Thanks for looking, etc.,

    -Kurt

Thank you, Mr. K. Snoopy, yes, I love my bikes, and breaking up is hard to do.
