Okay folks,
With the end of the road racing season upon us dirt bikes are all the rage these days on the forum. Since I myself have a new toy I'm anxious to get as much riding in as possible while the weather is PERFECT.
I've brought up my place before on the forums, a few guys have come out and we've had a kick ass time. It's just north of Boston, we leave from my dad's back yard. It's one of those safe, yet not legal spots, therefore registration/street plate is not required. Miles of woods, powerlines, and a metric shit ton of singles track. I've legitimately been riding here since I was 12. No need to cross roads or anything like that. Everything but the singles track are ATV friendly. The singles track is just too narrow in a lot of spots.
I'm planning to ride Saturday. 100% open to riding at my place, but also willing to travel a bit if there is a group going out somewhere else.
I figure this is a decent place for anyone to post up rides they're doing or a desire to get a group together for a certain date.
A man of many names...Jay, Gennaro, Gerry, etc.
I want to be "in" on this, but I know it won't happen with everything I have going on right now, so I'm just subscribing to live vicariously through this post. My CRF250X and KX100 are collecting dust right now![]()
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
What time Saturday, and just how North of Boston? I'm just over the border in NH, Everett Turnpike. I've got time on Saturday morning, and I have a plated NH dirty bike. Blinkers are my fingers if I ride south of the border....
Pretty sure I can guess where you are going...and my only comment is watch for bullets.
Wirelessly posted
I would be interested, I'm racing Sunday in Chester NH at the Jday event, I'd highly suggest checking one of them out, it's not a real competitive race, just a lot of riders looking to have fun, but I really do need to hit some single track and improve my woods riding ability

If you're thinking Benevento's area, then incorrect. I'm not sure where else I would potentially get shot....never seen anyone hunting in these parts and I don't think it's allowed anyway (then again neither is riding dirtbikes.) Also, once you leave my back yard you're out of North Reading. Feel free to PM me, I'm curious about this comment.
*Edit, he sent me a google maps view, completely different area.
My friend at the Honda Shop extended me an invite to that but I think I'm gonna try my hand at a bicycle cyclo-cross race Sunday. It's two wheels and racing as well.

http://www.visitmaine.com/attraction...ue_state_park/ for me this week. 6 days of trail riding near rangely region in Maine. Hopefully beautiful foliage.
You'd have to be pretty brain dead to attempt to shoot a dirt biker. What's the explanation? I thought he was a deer? When it's not hunting season, and deers lack the opposable thumbs required to twist a throttle?
I'm in Jay, just not this weekend because I'll be winning all the LW AM races.
I dunno about ALL... I'll be in GTL and LWGP...
Lemmie just look up your times...
Crap.
sick as a dog right now and may attend another ride Sat but sub'n anyway.. . Kurlon, get that fancy carby sorted yet?

How about a snow check and people get together this winter for some snowmobiling? (note** see what i did there with the rain check?)
I say this because I would love to take you up on your offer for doing some trail riding but next time I am home will be when snows on the ground (i hope anyways)
Hahaha. I'm dialed in right now. Two days riding with eBoz in NJ opened my eyes to some stuff that never clicked for me before, and I NEED these points for my white plates since I missed last round. Plus my family will be there for the first time. Lots of reasons to win, including a brand new set of dunlops![]()
Anyone who rides this area, watch out for trees. Turns out there's a lotta em in the woods.

This weekend is out for the grandson's birthday party. But I plan to do the Tom Noble turkey run in 2 weekends. This is a shout out to all the plated froot loops out there.

I'll be at NHMS attempting to end my roadracing season on a high note by improving upon my super slow old-man lap times.
However, I would like to join the fun on one of these legit but not legal rides at some point in the near future.
