Heading to mx207 Sunday!!!
Corey
$30, they take check and I think cards now too so it doesn't even need to be cash.
I can be there Sunday to hold your hand through the process if you'd like.( http://mx207.com/practice.html ) If all goes well I'll be flogging the WReck.
Saturday there will be lawnmower and kart racing, I'm assuming on a new oval somewhere, could make for fun entertainment between dirt sessions?

A bike and it's $30 for the day. They do have gear requirements on there website. Not sure how strict they are with them thoughOriginally Posted by JettaJayGLS

Checked their site....I like this idea. I think I'll see you there. It also looks dog Friendly which is a HUGE plus.
Do they break out different groups while riding? I'm pretty inexperienced when it comes to MX, but I'm more concerned with getting trampled by a quad then an expert ripping by be.

I have never been before, I know at mx101 they broke into groups and quads had 15 minutes every hour or 29 minutes, I forget what the rotation was. I doubt they would put quads on track with dirtbikes at the same time, I assume that they would break down the advanced and novice Riders if it's packed but in my experiences if there's not a ton of people they let you ride at will, but that's at mx101 and wareham, my buddies I'm going with say this track is the best in the northeast but it's a bit far so I'm kinda hoping it's not packed.Originally Posted by JettaJayGLS

It all depends on attendance. If there are enough people they'll run quads, then small bikes, then big bikes, etc. If it's 5 of us total, open track! It's a good track with very few choke points and I've never had an issue with aggressive riders out there as I putt putt along. Bring some sort of shade as there isn't much in the parking area, there is a nice sandwich shop just down the road again if you get a mite peckish, along with a Hannaford in the other direction. About the only thing not in the area is a good motorcycle shop for emergency supplies, although sometimes there is a crew working out of a shipping container on site with tubes, oil, etc.

On the website it also says a chest protector but I know a lot of racers don't even wear them so I'm not sure how strict they hold to thatOriginally Posted by MarkMarine

They won't stop you, but you'll want something on your chest. Roost can suck. If you don't have anything I'll bring one or both of my Icon Field Armor vests. Not as good as a roost vest, but worlds better than nothing. Oh, it doesn't have to be MX specific gear either, FYI.
As you know (since you used it last time) I have a spare for you.

Tore into the KTM yesterday/today.
Needs a bit more work than anticipated but hopefully I'll be riding it w/in the next couple of weeks.
Cleaning carbs now. New wiring harness when it arrives.
Really needs new chain n sprockets... should really get new sneakers, too.

Anyone up to ride tomorrow? If you have plates I have a nice run in the Swanzey NH area. Mostly off road but there is some pavement in between. I'd also be down to head elsewhere if anyone has somewhere in mind.
