dude?(last time I checked I didn't have a "dick" in my pants...)
Kawasaki Ninja's range from 250 to 1400 cc's....250 and 500 are good beginner bikes. Altho I would not recommend a 250 for a guy...it's a girl's bike...lol
I'm not laughing at you...btw. But please, learn to spell a little bit better...it would help people to understand you better...ROFL!!![]()

Keep the R6, it's a great first bike that could possibly last you some years. 250's & 500's ARE NOT good first bikes for many people out there. In fact, they're HORRIBLE first bikes. I've stated my arguements for this many times over...
Here's what I vote: Shut the fuck up all ready about all this '...boo-fuckin'-hoo-which-bike-should-I-get-now-I've-got-one-and-I-don't-know-what-to-do...' pissing & moaning you've been doing since you first logged in. Keep the fuckin' R6, learn how to RESPONSIBLY ride it, take the cash you were GONNA spend on a bike and get top-notch gear...
And kill the myspace message/abbreviating shit. It's as old as your 'which bike should I get' posts...

If an R6 is a great first bike, than so is a R1. I mean, you don't want a newbie riding a bike with no low end, they would have to shift too much, right? I mean, you don't want to "grow out" of a measly 600, right?
I've never heard a good point as to why starting out on a 600+ supersport is a better idea than a smaller bike. Yes, you can kill yourself on anything, and yes, plenty of people buy 600's as their first and end up fine. However starting smaller brings no disadvantages...but there are plenty of negatives to starting on a bike like a R6.
In the late eighties, 500's were better performing bikes than some of the heavier 600's. But today, compared to the 110+ horsepower 600's weighing under 400lbs, they're just "starter" bikes. Someday the '06 R6 will be thought of as the same.
Ugh...I'm tired of these repetitive "are 600's good first bikes" arguments.

there are a lot of reason....one being..you tell him buy a 250 or a 500 and he'll be ok..thats gives a false sense of security....not too mention a 250 can be dangerous because it doesnt get out of its own way...Originally posted by slaps76
