...to attend American Supercamp in Harrington, Delaware, Sat-Sun 26-27 Oct. The class is tentative and needs 8 more deposits to go firm. Anyone interested in dirt track /TT training on a TTR125? Instructed techniques directly apply to road racing in particular and motorcycle riding in general.
I have attended the camp three times in the past 18 months and it is a blast. Students learn a lot and have fun at the same time. The TTR125 is a low horsepower bike and makes an excellent training tool, since the bike responds dramatically to rider inputs. There are mud drills for throttle control, one handed drills to emphasize steering with the hips and legs and to enhance balance, plus brake slide drills all interspersed with laps around oval and TT circuits that are changed between sessions.
I have already registered for October and am hoping 8 others do likewise very soon so the event gets confirmed. (Web site indicates no deposits are processed until dates get confirmed).
If you are interested, there is a 30-minute, four part "American Supercamp training video" on youtube (with cameos of Eric Bostrom, Nicky Hayden and Colin Edwards plus great clips of superbike battles between Edwards and Bayliss) and the "American Supercamp" web site with more details. Multiple grand national champion Chris Carr has been an instructor every time I attended.
Thanks for reading. Hope to see you there.

Forgot to mention that there is a lot of riding - mixed with some classroom instruction and steady flow review of you and your riding mates' gopro video captured by staff riders. Plus Danny and Chris join the riding sessions on their TTR125s and you can battle against them.
Only a couple more riders needed to confirm the school.
