3rd in novice formula forty lite, chance for 2nd
2nd in novice ULSB
4th in Novice GTL, chance at 3rd
Question is, does it mean anything other than to me? Do they have wood for all classes or just some?
BTW great year Pete!![]()
There is no such thing as a Novice championship. only the should be an amateur List.

I have the possibility of finishing top 3 in all my races.
1st-P-Twins (wrapped as Pete said)
Currently 2nd in MWPT. I would have to win the last event and Rick would have to finish 4th or worse. If he finished 3rd we would tie but he would get it for more 2nd place finishes. That's only with the points drop, though, which I'm not a fan of. Without the drop he would have to finish last.
Currently 3rd in LWSS with the points drop. I need to beat Pete and by a couple positions to feel good about it so the drop doesn't matter.
Currently 2nd in GTL. Without the drop I'm way out ahead of Scott Mullin but with the drop only 4 points ahead. I gotta beat Scott, or finish 1 place behind him in a race where you can use slicks and run Superbike spec bikes. This will be a looong shot for 2nd, but could get 3rd. Now i wish I hadn't run my EX in this race at the first event!

I am happy i met my goals for this season, I stayed in novice to get my times down before bumping to AM. I always do the same 4 race's every weekend. Novice-GTO,MW Grand prix, HW superbike,HW supersport.
My season has been good ,
1 st place GTO have it locked down.
1 st place HW superbike if I can hold onto it.
2 nd place MW Grand prix if I can hang on
3 rd place HW supersport , Not sure what happen in this race over the season but i am 27 points out for a first place tye.
But overall i am happy with my season. I am still slow ( in my opinion) to bump to AM in the 600 class... I am just glad i broke into the 19's
Hopefully i will have a new bike for next season, anything is an upgrade from the 02 gsxr 600. My bike is a great bike to start out doing racing or track day's but not enough to hang in the AM/Expert class for middle weight...![]()
Yeah, 19's are way too slow to bump to Amateur
[/sarcasm]
Seriously.... I'm guessing the improved technology has a big thing to do with it, but people are going FASTER AND FASTER in each individual rider class before bumping. Back when I started racing, 19's would give you a solid shot at getting on the podium in an AM MWSS race.

OH , I forgot that there are a few of us that are all bumping to AM next season. So a lot of the guys that i am normally up against are all going to be very familiar with the occasional new face. I still can't wait, very pumped about being able to put the yellow/blacks on the bike..
I think I may have edged Pete Gaborio(187) out for first place in HWBBQ as of last weekend. I'm pretty sure I'm running a close second to Peter Kates in Unlimited Getting Drunk, but I can never remember my actual points by the end of the weekend.
