There is probably more done to it that I just don't remember. The bike has been crashed plenty of times by its previous owner, but he got everything checked out straight by GMD. It rides great and I would love to keep it, but my buddy's house that I keep it at is being taken by the bank. I plan on getting another bike by next spring, but until then I have no place to keep this one.
$1500!!!!!

thanks guys, the bike is ready for track days and race days. I'm sure it will be very competitive even against today's 600s.
Good luck with the sale...

why not rent a storage unit??
2006 Ducati Monster S2R800
I store it there year round, a rental would be a ridiculous fee. That and I'm thinking of a new track bike.
Man this is tempting to start getting into track days... I am hesitant to bring my brand new R6 on the track for fear of laying it down.
I need to buy this thing so i can finally race with the "big boys"![]()

It does have a clean and clear title. I just haven't put it in my name yet because I didn't want to pay taxes on it. If and when a buyer is found I can bring the title to the registry to get it in my name that way I can sign it over to the new owner. I don't expect any one to put the bike on the street mainly because it is definitely built for the track.
I bought this bike specifically for the track. I like the security of knowing if I dumped at the track that I would still be able to ride during the season. I think having a track bike makes things a little easier too, less worries and less maintenance in way. You don't have to worry about changing tires every time you go from the track to the street, taping over lights or putting on the other bodywork, and other random stuff.

Mike had a rough injury and for him to be able to hold onto his bike via the generosity of a fellow NESRian would be pretty darn cool in my book.
