Anyone interested ??? This would awesome !!! http://www.cbfestivalofspeed.com/
Looks like a couple of us booked rooms in Sydney for this event .
You riding there? The weather could be HARSH up at Cape Breton in October.
Like snow on the ground in some places.
3rd week of September also its Maritime
First time I thought of going to that Moss covered rock
Mapquest says 940 miles for me also looks like 1 road in and out
Glen Beck is John the Baptist
Looks great.
You might want to think about taking one of the ferries one way. Several run from Maine to NS, one out of Portland, the other out of Bar Harbor I think. The ride thru New Brunswick is ok the first time, not so much on the way home unless you have time to take the little roads.

This would be my Third trip ! Nova Scota is BEAUTIFUL ... I'f taken both the Blue Nose ( no longer running ) and the CAT . I've never had the time to ride all the way there . The people are so cool with motorcyclist and sort of expect you to ride the Hell out of their roads . Which I've done !
Yah I did it without the ferry... it's not worth it, take the ferry. It's something insane like 600-700 miles further.
ok, this is like the 4th time someone has posted about this event.
and again i will ask...... how do i enter?![]()
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

Considering the destination place is the extreme Northern Tip
Not sure if the ferry saves much either time or distance
Its 15 hours each way
Be frightened if I drove the van it would be
# 325 Dollars for GAS !!!

You need to apply for an international racing license. i read all up on it somewhere, but I forget where. It's going to take some work to get setup to compete. I'd like to go for it if my budget consents.Originally posted by SVRACER01

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
the current issue of roadracing world has a 1 page piece on this event. you need an intl roadrace license to compete, no i don't know how to apply for one but you can go to www.iomtt.com to get the rulebook. it says how to get the license in there. i assume that the festival of speed will use the same rules as the TT. i can't friggen wait for this to go down. they are saying that the speeds could be faster than the real TT.
cant find a rulebook on there![]()

This may be it ???
Just got an e-mail ,, looks like rooms are getting harder to find ,,,,,,, friends took the last of their rooms . My suggestion would be if you have an interest , book a room and cancel later if plans change . This sound like its going to be huge !!!
There was a list of hotels on one of the pages ,,, the joint we called is sold out for those dates already . I think Sydney Delta ( ?? ) is the name .
